These Terms of Service govern your use of Dayspring Driving School LLC services. By enrolling or using our website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your enrollment. The deposit amounts are: Starter $150, Standard $175, Plus $200, Premium $225. Deposits are applied toward the total program cost.
Balance: The remaining balance is due before your final class session or behind-the-wheel examination. No completion certificate will be issued until the full balance is paid.
Payment Plans: Payment plan arrangements must be agreed upon in writing at the time of enrollment.
Enrollment cancellation: Deposits are non-refundable. If a student cancels before the program begins, the deposit is forfeited. If a student cancels after the program begins, fees for completed sessions are non-refundable.
Class rescheduling: Students may reschedule individual class sessions with at least 24 hours advance notice. Rescheduled sessions are subject to availability. Missed sessions without 24-hour notice forfeit that session.
DDS-initiated cancellations: If Dayspring cancels a session due to weather, instructor unavailability, or other circumstances, the session will be rescheduled at no additional charge.
Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions on time, treat instructors and other students with respect, refrain from drug or alcohol use before or during any session, follow all instructor directions during behind-the-wheel training, and disclose any medical conditions that may affect safe driving ability.
Dayspring reserves the right to dismiss a student from the program without refund for conduct that endangers safety, repeated unexcused absences, or failure to comply with instructor directions.
All BTW sessions take place in a dual-control vehicle operated by a certified DDS instructor. Students must possess a valid Maryland Learner's Permit for all behind-the-wheel sessions. Students may not operate the training vehicle under the influence of any substance. In the event of a safety concern, the instructor may terminate the session immediately.
A Completion Certificate is issued upon successful completion of all required classroom hours, behind-the-wheel hours, and full payment of all fees. The certificate is required by the Maryland MVA for the skills test. Dayspring is not responsible for delays in scheduling the MVA skills test.
The MVA Test Vehicle Service ($165) provides a certified vehicle and instructor escort to your MVA test appointment. This service does not guarantee test passage. No refund is provided if the student does not pass the skills test. Rescheduling requires 48-hour advance notice.
Dayspring's liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising from use of our services.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Baltimore City or Baltimore County, Maryland.
