How do I enroll? +
Visit our Enroll Now page, choose your package, and pay a deposit to secure your seat. Confirmation arrives within 24 hours. You can also call (443) 555-0100 or visit our office.
What is the minimum age to enroll? +
Students must be at least 15 years and 9 months to begin classroom instruction. Behind-the-wheel training starts at 15½. Adults 18+ can enroll at any time with no restrictions.
Can I do the classroom sessions online? +
Yes. Maryland MVA fully approves our live Zoom classroom sessions. They are equivalent to in-person for all certification purposes. The same instructor, same curriculum, same completion certificate.
What packages do you offer? +
Starter ($299 — 6 hrs BTW), Standard ($399 — 8 hrs BTW), Plus ($499 — 10 hrs BTW), and Premium ($575 — 10 hrs BTW + MVA test vehicle included). All include 30 hrs classroom. Payment plans available.
Do you offer payment plans? +
Yes. All packages can be split into a deposit + balance. Deposits: Starter $150, Standard $175, Plus $200, Premium $225. Balance is due before your final exam. We accept cash, check, money order, Cash App, Zelle, and credit/debit card.
What if I need to miss a class? +
Makeup sessions are held Fridays 6:00–9:15 PM. Notify your instructor in advance if you know you will be absent. Students can also switch to virtual sessions if needed.

Maryland Licensing Process

Do I need a permit before enrolling? +
No. You can enroll at Dayspring before obtaining your learner's permit. We will guide you through the MVA permit process as part of your program.
How long does the full licensing process take? +
For teens through the GDL program: 18–24 months from permit to full license. For adults (18+): 6–10 weeks from enrollment to licensed, depending on schedule and practice time.
What is the Rookie Driver's Log? +
Form RD-006 is a mandatory MVA document for all teen drivers under 18. It tracks 60 hours of supervised practice (including 10 nighttime hours). We provide the form and guide every enrolled student through completing it. Read our complete guide →
Do you provide the vehicle for the MVA test? +
Yes. Our MVA Test Vehicle Service ($165 flat fee) provides a certified, insured, dual-brake vehicle plus an instructor escort to your MVA test location. We include a 15-minute pre-test warm-up drive.

Driver Improvement (DIP)

What is the Driver Improvement Program? +
An 8-hour MVA-required course for drivers with accumulated points on their record. $125 flat fee. Available in-person and online with same-day certificates. Learn more →
What happens if I ignore an MVA DIP notice? +
Failure to attend a court-ordered or MVA-mandated DIP can result in immediate suspension of your Maryland driving privileges. Driving on a suspended license is a criminal misdemeanor in Maryland.
